Zircon is the oldest mineral known to man going as far back as 4 billion years enabling scientists to date our planet. It is found in the Earth’s crust and is most often found as grains or small crystals.

Sadly, Zircon is often confused with Cubic Zirconia, the laboratory grown imitation diamond, because of its similar name. Heat treating Zircon can alter and enhance its colour. The blue variety is the most popular colour today. Blue varieties can range in colour from a pastel blue to a very bright blue.
